INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS
Only original papers will be considered. Manuscripts are accepted for review with the clear understanding that the work is original and unpublished, the work has not been and will not be submitted elsewhere, and that its submission for publication has been approved by all of the authors and by the institution where the work was performed. Any person cited as source of personal communication must have approved such citation in writing. Articles and any other material published in CPI represent the opinions of the author(s) and should not be construed to reflect the opinions of the editors or the publishers. Articles accepted for publication will be subject to peer review as well as editorial review and revision and to the rules governing the Copyright Revision Act of 1978. For extensive editing, the manuscript will be returned to the author(s) for revision.
Where human subjects are involved, a statement must be made that all clinical research has been conducted in accordance with the principles as defined in the Declaration of Helsinki. Research on animals should follow the guidelines set forth in the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals developed by the Institute of Laboratory Animal Resources of the National Research Council (sold by the U.S. Superintendent of Documents, U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington, DC 20402).
